ABOUT THIS HYBRID SEMINAR:

With 55 global banks having signed up to the Net Zero Banking Alliance and a booming Sustainable Finance market that saw USD 680 billion in issuance in the first half of this year, banks are gathering speed on the sustainability front in an effort to channel more capital into sustainable economic activities. Banks are being held responsible for the activities they finance and have an instrumental role to play to support decarbonisation of the global economy.

In this seminar, Stefan Schratz, Director - Head of German, Swiss & Austrian Clients Asia of ING Bank, will talk about the Sustainable Finance market more broadly and specifically address the role of banks in decarbonising the economy. In doing so, he will lever ING's leading position in the Sustainable Finance sector and ING's Terra Strategy to align its global loan portfolio with the Paris Climate Agreement.
