Tackling climate change requires collective global efforts. Apart from close collaboration at the local, regional, national and international levels, active participation of the whole community in carbon reduction is also crucial. The Hong Kong government has been playing a role in these continual efforts over the years through formulating policies, setting new carbon reduction targets and committing to action plans. In addition, the Government has also been encouraging the local community to engage and participate towards a common goal of transforming Hong Kong into a climate-ready city.
In this luncheon talk, The Honourable Wong Kam-sing, GBS, JP, Secretary for the Environment of the HKSAR Government will share with us his views for Hong Kong's low carbon future and how Hong Kong's business leaders can participate to lead Hong Kong towards a low carbon future.
