In the past year we have seen a number of developments – partly motivated by the OECD framework on base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS), which companies need to be aware of in order to avoid unnecessary tax cost when doing business out of Hong Kong.

There are the latest developments on the implementation of BEPS rules, e.g. introduction of the concept of permanent establishment, practical cases of restructurings, and some changes in China which may be of interest. Furthermore, the EU and Germany are also implementing BEPS-driven rules into domestic law, some of which will have an impact on business in Hong Kong.

In this seminar, we will update you on various tax changes you should be aware of in an international environment.
