This event is organised by the Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (BLCC)
To continue the exploration around the changing nature of global conflict and how that impacts our businesses, the BLCC is proud to organize an event together with friends from the Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC) and International Red Cross (ICRC).
A few weeks ago, several of BLCC members experienced the HKRC WarZone90 conflict simulation, a close to real-life simulation of what RC/ICRC experts deal with in the field. The feedback and debriefing questions showed that we would like to learn more!
If you are curious too or did you attend WarZone90 and you would like to continue the conversation, then you are very welcome to join our upcoming talk with Mrs. Bonnie So, Secretary General of the Hong Kong Red Cross and Mr. Jason Yip, former Head of Market at the International Committee of the Red Cross on 20 May at lunch time.
Our kind speakers Bonnie & Jason will next to introducing how the Red Crescent organizations operate, share their personal experiences of their work in the field. Years that left them with deep observations around the changing nature of conflict & natural disasters because of for instance technological developments, new payment systems, climate change, migrations and many more factors. The times of thinking about conflict related to a certain geographical area are in the past. New and different conflict dynamics are getting closer to our businesses & social environments.
The emphasis of this event will be on Q&A where together we will try to find some answers to a vital question: which risks and consequences do our speakers see out there, how can I personally or for my business assess and prepare? And more.
