Hong Kong and Hamburg have much in common. Both being port cities, they also share the transport infrastructure challenges typical
to vibrant cities. Moving people and goods from A to B efficiently is not only a matter of convenience, but an integral part of responsible
city planning and meeting the needs of the general public and climate objectives in the 21st century. With this session we would like to
exchange experiences and key learnings from both places who share a long history of collaboration in shipping and investment.
In recent years, Hamburg has developed into a hub for intelligent, innovative mobility solutions. Modern transport concepts and solutions suitable for everyday use are being tested in a large number of sub-projects in the city. The northern German metropolis is on its way to become the international center for the mobility of the future as the host for the ITS World Congress 2021.
Hamburg's metropolitan region also presents itself as a forward-looking location for green hydrogen in the heart of Europe and shows solutions along the entire value chain for green hydrogen. A recent OECD study confirmed that the Hamburg metropolitan region is particularly suitable for the development of a green hydrogen economy.
The metropolitan region of Hamburg offers a variety of unique advantages for companies from Hong Kong and South China. The webinar will give insights into the core competences of the region. Where are the business opportunities and how can international companies enter the market?
In partnership with HIW Hamburg Invest, German Industry & Commerce (GIC) cordially invites you to explore more about the intelligent mobility and hydrogen industry in Hamburg through this hybrid event.
