On 10 July, the G20 endorsed the key components of the OECD's two-pillar approach to international tax reform that was recently agreed to by 132 countries and jurisdictions.

Most prominently, the new rules likely will introduce a minimum tax rate of 15% on most income. The rules are expected to apply to multinational corporations (MNC) with a global revenue of at least EUR 750 million.

The new tax system is aimed at limiting tax competition among jurisdictions and ensuring fair taxation of MNC.

In this seminar, we will share insights into the new rules and what they mean for companies doing business in Hong Kong.
