On 12 January 2022, the EU Commission published a delegated act to the Radio Equipment Directive (RED), with the aim to improve the cybersecurity of wireless devices and products on the EU market. The new requirements will become mandatory from 1 August 2024.

The new regulation will significantly change the way these products can be sold on the market, both in terms of regulatory compliance as well as with regard to short-term and medium-term obligations for economic operators.

Join us for an informative session with TÜV SÜD, as we will explore the topic of IoT cybersecurity compliance, the implications of the delegated act to the RED, and what the emergence of this new paradigm of product security means for manufacturers. Attendees of this seminar will gain a practical understanding of the cybersecurity vulnerabilities of connected devices and why companies should start preparing early for the upcoming changes in the regulatory landscape.

  • Quality/ Compliance/ Marketing/ Merchandising/ Purchasing Managers, Managing Directors and Product Leaders
