In recent years, training has become a necessity for organisations to meet their hiring needs, bridge the skills gap, and retain key talent. Yet, as many managers can attest to, people who attend training do not all yield the same learning accomplishments. Training becomes the necessary annual "tick in the box" activity, yet not all employees improve their performance in equal measures.

Organisations cannot afford to spend precious budgets with such weak results. So how can we overcome this flaw in our talent development system? Talent and HR Leaders need to prove the Return-on-Investment for their talent development initiatives and developing Learning Accountability is key to the Learning Organisation. The outcome depends on the learners, and the ecosystem surrounding and supporting their learning can ensure greater success.

OBJECTIVES:

  • The manager's typical dilemma when it comes to training
  • The employee's training and talent development experience
  • How to develop Learning Accountability
  • What it really takes to achieve performance improvement from talent development initiatives

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • Managers and Business Leaders as well as HR and Talent Leaders looking to gain stronger results from their talent and training initiatives and achieving their upskilling goals.
