GCC Business Delegation to Greater Bay Area: Shenzhen

This event is organised by the German Chamber of Commerce in China (South & Southwest)

Shenzhen, China's primary hub for innovation and technology (I&T), is often referred as the 'Silicon Valley of China'. The city is fostering research and development in the high-end technology sector, especially artificial intelligence (AI). Shenzhen has attracted a vast amount of foreign investment over the past ten years and will continue to develop rapidly in the years ahead.

The business delegation to Shenzhen, the second visit within half a year, provides delegates with the unique opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the latest trends and developments in AI as well as to explore potential business/investment opportunities brought by the integration of the Greater Bay Area.

First up will be a visit to RoboSense, an environment perception solutions provider of autonomous driving LiDAR and developer of state-of-the-art robotic solutions and deep learning technology. In the afternoon, the delegation will visit UBTECH, a global leading AI and humanoid robotic company. The final stop will be Ping An Cloud Accelerator, an initiative by Ping An Insurance in support of innovative technology start-ups aspiring to enter the Chinese market.

The trip will be rounded off with a networking together with the local German business community in Futian.

Group size is restricted, priority given to GCC members for admission, and limited to one seat per member company.

Remarks: Attendees are responsible for their own China Visa and travel Insurance.
