Understanding Important Accounting Principles and their Financial Impact

  • Accrual and matching concepts: proper income and expenses in proper period
  • Fixed assets and depreciation: distinguishing between Capex and Opex, profit and cash
  • Examining the financial impact of common business transactions in different scenarios


Income Statement Analysis for Interpreting Business Results

  • Financial ratio analysis on income statements to look at growth, profitability and expenses efficiency
  • Case on Income Statement analysis: interpreting key changes and improvement areas
