ABOUT THIS WEBINAR:
"Trust is good, but control is better" – Every modern quality manager will agree with this motto. CTI's experience in testing PET bottles for recycled polyester (rPET) shows that, on average, almost every second sample fails.
Since the price of rPET is around 20% to 30% higher than polyester produced from virgin raw materials, some suppliers see false declarations as an easy way to increase their profit. Therefore, you should not rely purely on your suppliers' self-declarations or outdated certificates to ensure that what you paid for is what you actually get.
In this webinar, Mr. Brock Didenko will first introduce CTI Group, after which Dr. Dirk von Czarnowski (CTI) will talk about the driver for the high demand of rPET in the market, as well as the relevant legislation, variety of plastics, process of recycling, and how to ensure the desired quality of rPET. Dr. Manfred Hirning (Brington) will then explain the polyester recycling process, product and supply chain certification, the social and environmental impact, and material features.
