Background
Demand for trained professionals in the area of sustainability is on the rise. For instance, under the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act passed by the German parliament in 2021, companies of a certain size are required to employ a designated officer in charge of corporate due diligence in the supply chains.
This Sustainability Management Course, offered by our partner Consulting Service International in co-operation with htw saar and sikos GmbH, is designed to equip participants with the know-how and practical skills to take up this role in their organisations and meet the new regulatory requirements. Upon completion, participants will be awarded with an official certificate issued by htw saar.
Content
The 80-hour course provides an in-depth understanding of due diligence requirements and how to apply them in the real world, in order to reduce risk and ensure sustainable business operations to the benefit of the people, the company, and the environment.
The course covers sustainability principles, business and supply chain management, CSR, environmental and climate protection, legal requirements, and more. Course contents can be flexibly tailored to meet the needs of specific industries, companies and organisations.
